How To Live Full

"For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord." — Romans 6:23

How To Live Full | The Grave Is Empty So Your Life Doesn't Have To Be

We live in a world that keeps offering us food that never satisfies. We eat, we achieve, we acquire — and an hour later, we're hungry again. In How To Live Full, Pastor Mike O'Connell preaches an Easter message built around one of the most honest questions anyone can ask: when was the last time you were truly full? Not satisfied with a meal, but settled in your soul — the ache finally quiet, the emptiness finally gone.

The Broken Wells We Keep Returning To

The pattern is ancient. Jeremiah 2:13 describes it plainly: God's people abandoned the fountain of living water and dug broken cisterns that cannot hold what they pour into them. Pastor Mike knows this cycle personally. Growing up with a hole in his soul, he tied his worth to his performance on the field — playing sports for love rather than from it. The deal, the promotion, the relationship, the position — they are not bad things. They are good servants and terrible masters. And they all run dry.

The Stone Was Rolled Away So We Could See In

The resurrection is the hinge point of everything. When the women arrived at the tomb, the angel's words were simple: He isn't here. He is risen. Pastor Mike offers a striking observation — Jesus didn't need the stone rolled away to get out. He made the rocks. The stone was rolled away so we could see in. The grave is empty. And because it is, your life does not have to be.

F.U.L.L. — Four Things You Can Leave With Today

Pastor Mike closes with four resurrection promises — not a self-help list, but a declaration of what the gospel actually gives us.

Fully Forgiven. Colossians 2 says God cancelled the record of every charge against us and nailed it to the cross. You were never meant to forgive yourself. You were meant to receive His forgiveness. Stop making payments on a debt that has already been paid in full.

Unashamed. Shame only survives where the cross is misunderstood. When the enemy reminds you of your past, remind him of his future. That old version of you has been buried.

Loved before you earned it. The world rewards performance. The kingdom operates differently. Jesus said it is finished — not it is started. You do not have to earn what has already been given. And if you could not earn it, you cannot lose it.

Led into the life you were made for. Ephesians 2:10 calls you God's masterpiece — His poema, a poem written with purpose. God will take your past pain and repurpose it into your calling. But most of us want resurrection without crucifixion. Something may need to be laid down before you can step into what is next.

Do You Believe This?

Outside Lazarus's tomb, Jesus asked one of the most personal questions in the entire Bible: Do you believe this? He is asking the same question today. The grave is empty. Your life does not have to be.
